Selection of test plates

For test fixture plates, the material includes acrylic (PMMA and epoxy boards. For the test probes that the pore size is bigger than 1.00 mm, the plate is plexiglass. Plexiglass is cheap. Because the plexiglass is transparent fixture, if there is any problem, it can be found easily. While, the ordinary plexiglass prone is easily melting and breaking when drilling bit. Generally if drilling diameter  is less than 1 mm, we recommend epoxy resin. The epoxy resin plate is easy to drill and not break drill. Beside the toughness and rigidity are good. Just the price is high. As no swelling or shrinkage of epoxy board, the socket and test probe will move if the drill diameter is not accurate. It’s difficult to check Epoxy board if there is a problem because of no transparent. Besides, plexiglass is easier affected by environment. If the density of the test is very high, we recommend epoxy board.
